How We Can Help You With Your Speeding Tickets in Alberta?

With more than 50 years of radar evidence experience, we've reviewed thousands of speeding tickets. Early in 2023, the Minister of Justice, Tyler Shandro, stripped Alberta traffic court prosecutors of their prosecutorial discretion when it comes to speeding tickets. They are no longer allowed to offer no-demerit, no record resolutions and are restricted to reducing alleged speeds on a speeding ticket to just 10 km/h, and only if the driver “has a lawful reason for speeding”. It's become substantially more difficult to get a reduction of any kind on your speeding violation.

This is outrageous political interference with the Crown prosecutors and we are taking the Minister to task about this.

Having said that, if your demerit totals are high or speeding ticket convictions are a big part of your ability to remain employed, we have had some success… and sometimes managing the timing of the conviction, …when the speeding conviction goes on your driving record, can play a large role in keeping you driving.

If this speeding ticket causes you particular stress, contact us and we can discuss the possibility of at least a temporary solution.
